This past Saturday Jen and I, armed with a topo map and a desire to explore, headed into the hills not far from our house. We found steep climbs, amazing views, exhilarating descents, creek crossings, and above all: A great time! We also learned that what once may have been a road as indicated on a topo map may now be sweet single track trail meandering through the mountains. There are lots of hidden gems in thar hills!
