I went to the North Shore yesterday after work. Well, not that North Shore. The North Shore of Carter Lake. The wind had finally subsided in the Front Range, so a longer road ride seemed in order.

I got to Carter Lake and back home before the sun set, but the majority of the ride was in the warming light of the setting sun. This has got to be my favourite time of the day. I love to watch how the light from the setting sun caresses the hills, the fields, the barns, the horses and everything else.
