This past weekend was a typical spring weekend in Colorado: Skiing on snow one day, riding on dirt the next. Heck, if you really want to you cram both in on the same day.
Saturday we went to Loveland, but ended up cutting it short as I was feeling under the weather.

Sunday, I was feeling much better again, so Jen and I headed up to Devil’s Backbone together with Cynthia. We ended up riding the Blue Sky trail all the way up to Horsetooth with the Indian Summer trail thrown in for good measure. The Indian Summer trail is a great addition to the Blue Sky trail, but the real treat yesterday was the most northern part of the Blue Sky trail. It was so incredibly fast and flowy and tacky that by the end of it we were all sporting smiles from ear to ear – if we weren’t already before that!

It was a good day of riding with good friends and a good finish (mexican food!). Thanks Jen and Cynthia!
